My name is pronounced Juh-HI-duh.
How long have you worked at Chestnut and what’s your position?
I worked at Corner kitchen from May-October 2023 and have been at Chestnut since November 2023. I do a little of everything in back of house.
Where are you from?
My parents are from Nayarit, Mexico but I was born and raised in Asheville.

I’m a Capricorn.
Are you a dog or cat person?
I’m a dog person.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy shopping.
What’s something on your bucket list?
I’d love to travel to Europe.
What’s your favorite dish here?
I like the Summer Squash Ravioli on the summer menu.
What’s your proudest accomplishment?
My team and I just won the national championship in the ACF (American Culinary Federation) student team.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I’m the first in my family to go to college.

I’m always open to trying something new, so I always have my doors open to anything that comes my way.
