To get ready for this new phase in our restaurant life, we have cleaned the restaurant from stem to stern and created protocols for our staff that promote a safe work environment.
We will offer as much from local farms and vendors as possible, and use environmentally friendly packaging, like we always have. And we are working toward that day when we can all be together inside the restaurant for a meal together.
We believe we have created a menu that is delicious, comforting and offers a nice alternative to cooking everything from scratch at home! See you soon!
Since 2012 Chestnut has been making a gustatory impression on Downtown Asheville. Located at 48 Biltmore Avenue Chestnut is in close proximity to some of the city’s favorite venues including the Fine Arts Theater, Diana Wortham Theatre, and The Orange Peel.
Consistently creative cuisine — Chestnut offers classics done right with a touch of cutting edge. From house cured meats to perfect mashed potatoes to local steak cooked to a turn to local vegetables fresh from the farmer; it’s not what you do, but how you do it.
Carefully crafted cocktails — Elixirs, Shrubs, Syrups all made in house, combined with freshly squeezed juices, top drawer liquors and our highly skilled bartenders for a one of a kind beverage experience. The wine list isn’t too bad either…
Support local farmers and makers while checking items off your grocery list. We are proud to offer a variety of locally-sourced provisions that we use every day in our restaurant. Availability varies. Check out up to date offerings and order online.
