Humans of Chestnut: Phil Orr

Hey, ya’ll! We’re back with another Humans of Chestnut installment, this time featuring manager Phil Orr. Without Phil, we aren’t really sure how we’d have made it this far into the pandemic. It’s a challenge for any manager, but Phil does it with unexpected grace. Just look at him:

Here are a few words from the man himself:

What keeps you going despite everything that’s going on in the world?

Phil: I’d say for the last ten months I’ve found myself doing a – almost like silver lining exercises, just trying my hardest to find the silver lining in anything, whether it’s on a worldly scale or just day to day things.

If you could only have one food for the rest of your life, what do you think it would be?

Phil: Gotta be cheese. Just cheese. Any kind of cheese.

Any kind of cheese?

Phil: I guess blues are a bit…they’ve gotta be the right blue, let’s put it that way.

What movie should everyone see?

Phil: I had never seen The Green Mile, and I finally just saw it. Unbelievable movie. So there you go! I’m kind of watching a lot of old movies recently.

What’s the most unique thing about you?

Phil: I play a lot of darts. I actually play competitively so I’m in a dart league around here. Obviously it’s been about 10 months since I played…
