What has your most memorable experience with a guest been?
My most memorable experience with a guest was when a gentleman shared a story about… He was an assistant nurse for a doctor that made “house-calls” to a local hotel (a big thing in those times he informed me). He stated that the doctor had gotten a phone call around 2 AM, from the hotel, requesting a doctor. The doctor was hesitant because of the late hour. The front desk assistant assured the doctor that the visit would be worthwhile. The doctor knocks on the hotel door preparing for the sick guest but as the door slowly opens, the doctor is greeted by a gentleman holding a cigar and a glass full of booze. To his surprise it was Frank Sinatra. Frank had asked the doc to cure his sore throat and cold because he had a performance the next day. long story short, Frank gave the doctor and his family, free front row passes to all of his shows in town.
