Our first Humans of Chestnut of the year is Samantha Ferrer! Many of you have been served by her during the past year and a half. She is a fantastic part of our crew and we can’t wait for you to find our more about Samantha!
How long have you worked for Chestnut & what’s your role?
I’ve worked at Chestnut as a server for a year and a half now!
What is your favorite meal or cocktail you’ve had at Chestnut?
My favorite cocktail is the burning bronze. Also, anything created by our Pastry Chef Mallory. The s’mores parfait and chocolate olive oil cake are my favorite!
What is your biggest passion outside of work?
Parkway Picnics is my biggest passion. Starting from the ground up I strive to create memorable experiences through luxury picnics. Working with local vendors is always a big passion to unite our community as much as possible!
Where in town would you recommend folks visit?
I would recommend the Burial Forest Camp close to Biltmore Village, the Retroarcade in West Asheville and Well Played in South Slope.
If you could travel anywhere in the world for a food experience, where would you go and what would you want to try
Japan! I’ve always wanted to see the cherry blossoms and have authentic sushi!
