What’s the best meal you’ve had at Chestnut?
The shrimp and grits for sure. Especially when they make it extra spicy!
What kitchen tool could you not live without?
A really nice pan.
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Oh, definitely tacos. I could eat fish tacos every day.
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
One time my boyfriend and I tried to make a mornay sauce for Mac and cheese. We accidentally put 2 tablespoon of sea salt in the sauce and it turned out awful. The Mac and cheese was so salty and inedible, it tasted like you were drinking a glass of ocean water.
What’s your favorite food movie?
I really love the movie, Chef. As well as Ratatouille, it’s adorable.
What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it?
The Office, even though I have seen the show a thousand times. It’s easy to watch and is hilarious.
Describe how you spend your time outside of Chestnut?
I enjoy being outside, hiking and exploring all the trails Asheville has to offer. I also really enjoy going to see live music and spending time with friends and family.
