The lunch Catfish entree.
What kitchen tool could you not live without?
My spatula, most definitely.
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Meatloaf, peas, mashed potatoes and gravy.
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
A burger at an unnamed downtown eatery. It had liquid smoke in it. So bad.
What’s your favorite food movie?
Waiting.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
I started out making curry chicken last night, but I ended up with soup.
What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it?
The news, because it’s early in the morning and I don’t want to watch infomercials.
Describe how you spend your time outside of Chestnut?
I split my time between family and working on music.
Do you work elsewhere and if you don’t mind sharing, what do you do?
I work as a musician with my hip hop band Spaceman Jones and The Motherships. And, I also work for Asheville Food Tours, leading tours of many restaurants in the city.
