Introducing Pastry Assistant, Alyson Daniels. Alyson is the Humans of Chestnut for April and we thought it was about time for you to meet her! We asked her a couple of fun questions to find out about this lovely lady!
How long have you worked for Chestnut & what’s your role?
I am the pastry assistant. This May will be two years since I started working at Chestnut.
What is your favorite dish, dessert or drink you’ve had at Chestnut?
My favorite dish I’ve had at Chestnut would be the Winter Squash Ravioli with the Acorn Squash Purée.
What type of food could you eat everyday?
I could eat pork dumplings with a Dr Pepper everyday.
What is your biggest passion outside of work?
My biggest passion would be my friends and family.
Where in town would you recommend folks visit?
I recommend Asheville Pizza and Brewery for 3 dollar movies.
Do you have a favorite food related movie or tv show?
I really enjoy the movie Ratatouille and Good Burger.
If you could travel anywhere in the world for a food experience, where would you go and what would you want to try
I would love to travel to South Asia and try traditional street food.
